Welcome to My Terminal
Welcome to My Terminal
This is the first post on my new personal website. I built this site to look and feel like a retro terminal TUI — because the command line is where I feel most at home.
Why a Terminal Theme?
There's something deeply satisfying about the aesthetic of a terminal. The monospace fonts, the neon glow of green text on a dark background, the blinking cursor waiting for input. It's a reminder that at the core of everything we build, there's a simple interface between human and machine.
What You'll Find Here
I plan to write about:
- Development workflows — how I build things with AI assistance #development
- Self-hosted infrastructure — running your own services #selfhosted
- TypeScript and web development — modern patterns and practices #typescript
- Open source contributions — giving back to the community #opensource
The Stack
This site is built with React, TypeScript, tRPC, and Drizzle ORM — all running on a self-hosted infrastructure. The terminal aesthetic is achieved with pure CSS, custom fonts, and a carefully chosen color palette.
Stay tuned for more posts. In the meantime, feel free to explore the site, leave a message in the guestbook, or check out my projects.
